ImHosted is a company, which was established in 2000. Their site is very detailed and one can find everything about the company with one exception - its location. Where is this company located? Maybe in the USA? But then in which state or city? Not that it's that important but usually such big companies provide a full address for contact purposes. That way you'd know whom you're dealing with. And now it seems to me as if it was a phantom or something. Nevertheless, I will trust them and test whether they actually deserve all the awards they've received.

In general, they provide all the goodies that are in the premium web hosting accounts - but at only $7.95 a month. Overall, $7.95 is a good price to pay for this type of package. They also included a toll free number for sales and competent 24 hours tech support.

Startlogic is unique in a sense that they offer 24 hour live technical support. You can contact a representative any time during the day or night and request assistance over the phone and not just through email. Furthermore, for $7.50 per month, they offer a free domain, 2 GB Space, 60 GB transfer and one of the best web templates program we have seen on the internet today. It doesn't get any better than this. Since Startlogic is relatively a new company, we decided not to give it our highest rating yet until they establish some reputation on the internet. It is said that Startlogic was founded by a large investor so you can be assured that it is a hosting company that you can depend and rely on for years to come. Besides web hosting, they also sell other great products at bargain base prices such as their dedicated servers.

EasyCGI is a strong player in the windows web hosting industry. Unlike most web hosting companies which focus only on Unix hosting, Easy CGI is the opposite in that it focuses on Windows web hosting users. Easy CGI's strength is in offering its users the ability to use Ms SQL, Coldfusion and Asp component on its web hosting accounts without looking elsewhere. Their windows web hosting accounts also offers plenty of storage space (3 GB) and traffic (50 GB)

At first sight, Website Source looks like any other ordinary web hosting company. There are no gimmicks or special plans but high priced plans used to attract corporate customers who do not know what they are doing. Their cheapest plan is $13.95, and they only provide you with 6 GB of traffic and 200 MB of space. You can get more than double the amount of features by going with another company and by paying only half the price. Even though Website Source has been one of the oldest web hosting company, been around since 1998, it hasn't changed much.

Hostrocket's pricing structure is very similar to other web hosting companies. Although their pricing is slightly higher than other web hosting companies, they do offer discounts if you are committed for a certain amount of time. Their pricing starts at $9.95 with a 2 year commitment and $14.95 without any commitments. Besides pricing, they offer features that other web hosting companies dare not offer such as unlimited sub-domains and telnet access. Many companies offer a limited amount of sub-domains and do not both offering telnet due to security breaches, but not Hostrocket.
